Children begin to explore the Physical Geography, or outward appearance and characteristics of our earth in this area as well its Cultural Geography, or the ways in which various groups of people around the world have adapted to their environment through the development of language, tools, religion, transportation, clothing, food and customs. By studying other continents and cultures, children begin to understand the diversity of their planet as well as the ways in which we are all the same!
