Outside play is an important part of the day! Children can enjoy a safe, well-supervised play area as well as nature walks and exploration. All children who remain with us beyond lunch will have a rest/nap time, before the afternoon begins.
Throughout the year, various special activities, events and celebrations will be planned for the children and families. Parents are encouraged to participate in our activities and may volunteer their time, if they would like.
Daycare providers are Infant & Child CPR and First Aid certified, and Medication Administration Certified.

My passion for the Montessori Philosophy and working with children has led me to realize my dream of offering the beauty of a Montessori education in a more intimate setting at a more accessible price. I received my Montessori training and credential at the Primary Level from the Center for Montessori Education in New Rochelle, NY, in 2016, but have almost 10 years of Montessori experience teaching at the Primary and Toddler Levels, as well as have been a Head Toddler Teacher at the Goddard School in Brookfield, CT. I have a Master’s Degree in Psychology as well as experience working with children with developmental and behavioral differences. I have lived in the Newtown/Sandy Hook area with my husband Michael for 16 years.
